Today, the Ministry of Technology Sri Lanka joined the Digital Public Goods Alliance as a new member.

DPGA Co-Lead Liv Marte Nordhaug has penned an article in the OECD’s Development Matters about what lessons we can learn from India in the process of improving our digital public infrastructure.

Today the DPGA launches the 2022 State of the Digital Public Goods Ecosystem report featuring 30+ organisations and technologies in the DPG ecosystem.

The Digital Public Goods Alliance’s Food Security Community of Practice, co-chaired by Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), are collaborating to identify open source software, data, and content collections that provide real-time, actionable advice for farmers to support them in their agricultural activities.

Today we welcome Foundation for Public Code as a new member of the DPGA. Their work helps public organisations collectively develop and maintain public code, stewards the Standard for Public Code, and provides codebase stewardship for DPG codebases.

Throughout 2022, the Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) held a series of consultations in partnership with the Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA) and other partners to inform the scope and substance of the Digital Public Goods (DPG) Charter. Read more as part of this blog series.
