UN Global Pulse research has identified a need to support DPG owners in scaling their innovations through access to experts. Last month, they conducted a survey to better understand this need, particularly to gauge interest in a DPG support programme that would connect subject matter experts with owners and implementers of DPGs.
Data as a digital public good is particularly important. Data is critical to understanding problems and prospective solutions for organisations, governments, businesses, and civil society. By using open data, societies can find new ways to foster economic and human development integral to the attainment of the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
